New Professorship for Dr. Michael Schellenberg: Head of the BA Programme in International Business Administration at SRH Campus Hamburg

On Wednesday, September 25, 2024, Dr. Michael Schellenberg was officially awarded his professorship in a ceremonial event at the SRH Campus Hamburg. The newly appointed professor will lead the Bachelor’s program in International Business Administration (B.A.) starting in the upcoming Winter Semester 2024, enriching the campus with his expertise.

The certificate was awarded in the presence of Prof. Dr. Victoria Büsch, President of SRH, as well as other professors and the campus director Sabine Westermann. The entire SRH Hamburg team was also present for this special occasion to warmly welcome their new colleague.

Prof. Dr. Michael Schellenberg has an impressive academic and professional career, making him ideally suited for his new role. He earned his Ph.D. at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow (UK) on the topic of internationalization strategies for high-tech SMEs and conducts research in the areas of networking, international entrepreneurship, and entrepreneurial behavior. He also brings years of practical experience: He has worked in consulting and market research and is active as a marketing consultant and systemic coach. Prof. Schellenberg has also taught at numerous universities both in Germany and abroad, covering topics such as marketing, branding, entrepreneurship, and digital business.

In his new role, he will not only lead the IBWL program but also prepare future generations of students for the challenges of the global business world.

SRH Campus Hamburg, known for its practice-oriented degree programs and international focus, is further reinforcing its commitment to quality and excellence in teaching with the appointment of Prof. Dr. Schellenberg.
